This vintage monumental rattan coffee table features a dramatic concentric sunburst top framed within a clean square silhouette, creating a piece that feels both sculptural and architectural. The layered reedwork radiates outward from the center in tightly wrapped concentric rings, giving the surface remarkable depth, texture, and movement.

The table is constructed from hand-applied bamboo and rattan with visible brass tack detailing throughout, showcasing the craftsmanship and labor-intensive construction typical of higher-end coastal and Mediterranean-inspired furniture of the 1970s. Tonal variation across the natural materials shifts from warm honey and caramel tones to deeper tobacco undertones, emphasizing the dimensional quality of the woven surface.
