A late 19th century pine chest of drawers retaining an exceptional original painted surface worn beautifully by time and use. Constructed from solid pine with a plank back and traditional craftsmanship throughout, the chest possesses the kind of depth, texture, and authenticity that can only be earned through generations of use.

The chest features four graduated drawers with original wooden knobs, keyhole details, turned ball feet, and a clean, straightforward silhouette that allows the surface itself to take center stage. The top and sides exhibit dramatic wear patterns, where the deep brown-black painted surface has developed a richly layered patina, with areas of wear revealing warm pine beneath.
