This antique mahogany chest of drawers features a broad serpentine façade, oversized molded top, and gently shaped apron, giving the piece a strong architectural presence softened by graceful curves. The restrained silhouette allows the exceptional mahogany to take center stage, where more than a century of age has produced a remarkably rich surface.

The finish shifts from deep oxblood and wine tones to dark espresso and warm garnet undertones depending on the light. Subtle grain movement, gentle oxidation, and a beautifully mellow patina create depth across each drawer front, while the original brass bail pulls and pierced escutcheons provide an elegant contrast against the richly aged wood.
