This set of four vintage dining chairs was crafted in the 1940s and imported from Tuscany. Built from solid wood and finished with woven leather strap seats and backs, the chairs reflect a tradition of rustic Italian craftsmanship rooted in material, function, and handwork.
Each chair features a sturdy wood frame with visible grain, knots, and natural variation. Wide leather straps are woven in a simple grid across the seat and back, creating a surface that feels both structural and considered. Over time, the leather has developed rich tonal depth and surface character, giving the set an unmistakable sense of age and authenticity.
The woven construction offers supportive comfort while adding visual texture, and the squared proportions keep the overall form grounded and architectural. There’s a quiet strength to these chairs — practical, expressive, and deeply tied to their materials.
They feel especially at home around a farmhouse table, in a mountain or coastal retreat, or within a collected interior that values warmth, texture, and honesty over polish. Substantial without feeling heavy, the set brings weight and presence to a dining space in a very natural way.
The chairs remain in excellent vintage condition, with sturdy frames and well-preserved leather throughout. A rare and expressive example of mid-20th-century Tuscan seating, well suited for everyday dining or as statement pieces around a table.

Ships via White Glove Delivery
Willies Vintage partners with trusted third-party delivery providers to facilitate White Glove Delivery services within the contiguous 48 states. All shipments are handled independently by third-party providers.
The White Glove Delivery Service includes careful transport and in-home placement of furniture. The delivery team will bring the item into the preferred room, unpack it, place it as directed, and remove all packaging materials.
Orders typically ship within 2-4 weeks, though in rare cases, it may take up to 8 weeks to coordinate delivery. A notification will be sent once the item has shipped. This shipping process is designed to accommodate the specialized handling required for vintage and specialty pieces, which is why third-party furniture shippers are used instead of standard carriers like UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
Once the shipper is ready to schedule delivery, they will contact the recipient directly to arrange a date and time frame. Rural deliveries may require additional scheduling time due to limited routes. To prepare for delivery, a clear path should be ensured to the designated room, as the delivery team cannot move or rearrange existing furniture. A signature will be required upon receipt. If the delivery location presents any challenges—such as tight stairways, narrow hallways, or additional obstacles—there may be additional fees.
For details on delivery timelines, potential additional fees, and how to prepare for delivery, please refer to the Shipping Policy or contact support with any questions.
